Transfer Services
Ask the Transfer Counselor
Fulton-Montgomery Community College provides transfer guidance to any student who is interested in continuing their education after FMCC.
- Students can schedule an individual appointment to meet with the transfer counselor.
- In addition, transfer workshops are available to discuss transfer options, the transfer process, and how to select the school that is right for you.
- FMCC offers both a fall and spring Transfer Fair. Over 40 four-year colleges are represented on the campus of FMCC.
- FMCC has entered into Transfer Articulation Agreements with several public and private universities. An articulation agreement is a detailed sequence of coursework that has been pre-approved by the transfer institution. These agreements ensure the transfer of FMCC courses allowing the student to automatically enter the four-year college as a junior. Some agreements offer automatic admission to the transfer institution. Students are encouraged to work closely with their academic advisor to guarantee successful completion of the agreement.
- New agreements are added each semester. Please contact the Transfer Counselor in the Student Development Center at (518) 762-4651, ext. 4710 for a complete up-to-date list of agreements, or to obtain details on a specific agreement.
