ALWAYS STRIVE TOWARD YOUR GOALS: MAGGIE LUCK

Margaret “Maggie” Luck began her education at FMCC in 1978. She graduated with the class of 1983. A native of Johnstown, Maggie chose FMCC because it was convenient and affordable. She was paying for her education on her own.

“Knowing that I would be an international student,” says Naomi, “I thought it would be a good idea to attend a college relatively small in size as opposed to going to a big four-year university. That way I would be able to get used to the English-speaking environment and to American culture more.”

Erik then had a couple of options: 1, he could attend another local high school to finish his senior year; or 2, he could attend FMCC's Early Admissions Program where he would earn his high school diploma while receiving college credit. Erik chose the latter...
