Faculty members have often been requested as guest speakers for organizations and events in their area of expertise. Many years ago, the college established a Speakers Bureau which included a directory of faculty and staff members along with topics on which they would speak. The Bureau had been dormant until recently, when Associate Professor Sharon Poling put out a call to her colleagues to reestablish the concept and once again develop promotional material to make the community more aware of the rich resources that FM has to offer.
